In ECW on 20/7 Mickie Henson was announced as the senior ECW Referee.

Mickie Henson joins ECW officiating team
July 19, 2006

Veteran official Mickie Henson has joined the ECW officiating team as Senior Referee.

A 20-year veteran of the industry, Henson's extreme credentials extend all the way back to his first match; in October 1987, Henson's debut came in a match pitting former ECW Champion Mike Awesome against Bob Cook.

Henson is a veteran of both WCW and WWE, where he served as a RAW referee for the past nine months. He has been the official in several memorable matches in WCW and WWE, including Goldberg's first WCW loss at Starrcade 1998, the John Cena vs. Kurt Angle WWE Championship Match at Survivor Series 2005 and the brutal Hardcore Match between Edge and Mick Foley at WrestleMania 22.

Henson's first night on the job was the July 18 edition of ECW on Sci Fi. He had his hands full already on his first night, officiating the bout between Mike Knox and Sandman as well as the ECW World Championship match between Big Show and Undertaker.
